Christmas Round Up
Club captain, Steve Jeffery teamed up with his son (and former Infinity player) Chris to win the County Pairs title on 13 December. That makes them champions two years’ running. Congrats to Steve and Chris!
Infinity were well represented in the Fours competition held at Worthing just before Christmas. Jane and Malcolm Gray along with Elly Newman reached the final and won the silver medal thus qualifying for the nationals to be held in Melton Mowbray later this year. Meanwhile, Lynn Teale and Christian Bushell won the bronze medal.
Infinity celebrated the Christmas break with a fantastic meal at The Walnut Tree in Runcton. There were plenty of dodgy Christmas jumpers on display and we were honoured by the presence of Lord and Lady Teale on the night! We were so delighted they were able to attend the “Servants’ Meal” and hope they weren’t too upset by the low class humour on display!! Many thanks to Fiona Bell-Currie for all her hard work in arranging the evening.
